I think we all know that a lot of movies are being hit with that 3D conversion thing, but results have been mixed. Personally, I think it was only the phenomenal success of Avatar that turned Alice In Wonderland and Clash of the Titans into 3D, as if it was an afterthought.

In order to squeeze more dollars out of the hit movie Inception, there are plans to make it 3D as well. I will have to admit the film was probably the best I saw last year, and hopefully win an Oscar, but I really don’t want to see this happen.

Granted, the scene where everything is exploding at once would look cool in 3D, I accept the film’s 2D nature over a storyline that exists in so many dimensions. If Warner Brothers wanted this in 3D, but didn’t they just do it on the film’s initial theatrical release?

Well, I would imagine that dollar signs are in the future for the new 3D version of Inception. I suppose that we will see if it will be a major theatrical re-release or just the Blu-ray version.
