HP Launches New TouchSmart PC and Display Solutions

Hewlett Packard has unveiled three new HP TouchSmart PCs as well as a 42” diagonal HD digital signage touch display as part of their new offerings. The three new TouchSmart PCs are the TouchSmart 300, TouchSmart 600 and TouchSmart 9100.

The TouchSmart 300 (20”) and 600 (23”) incorporates HD widescreen displays with a multi-touch enabled screen. The TouchSmart 9100 is catered more towards the business sector and provides real-time information, video conferencing, and multimedia via its 23” diagonal full HD widescreen display.

The HP TouchSmart tx2 features a 12.1” diagonal WXGA HD HP LED widescreen powered by AMD Turion dual core processors. This device can be easily converted in three modes: PC, display and tablet, all thanks to its convertible design with twist hinge. It even comes with a digital ink pen where you can draw, sketch or take notes with it.

The HP LD4200tm is a 42” diagonal digital signage display that is suitable for indoor environments. It features a 1920×1080 full HD native resolution with an ultra-wide 178×178 degree viewing angle. It runs on infrared technology and is built to run 24/7 with low power usage.

Pricing for the new HP TouchSmart products as well as date of availability are as follows:

  • The HP TouchSmart 300: $899; available by November 1
  • The HP TouchSmart 600: $1,049 ; available by October 22
  • The HP TouchSmart tx2: $799; available by October 22
  • The HP TouchSmart 9100: $1,299; available by December
  • The HP LD4200tm 42-inch widescreen LCD monitor: $2,799 available by December
