Epson Intros PowerLite 90-Series For Education Priced at $649

Epson has announced the launch of four new budget-friendly projectors for educational purposes. The projectors named as the PowerLite 92, 93, 95, and 96W are far better than their predecessors PowerLite 83V+, 83+, 84+, 85+ and 826W+. They boast a powerful built-in speaker and HDMI digital connectivity ensuring high-quality audio and video without the hassle of wires.

"As multimedia content becomes a standard element of classrooms, Epson continues to develop products that deliver high-quality images and sound to enhance students’ learning experiences," said Sara Kim, product manager, Epson America. "This series of projectors brings an ideal blend of high performance features and future-ready connectivity to the classroom at a price point that won’t hurt the bottom line."

While the PowerLite 92 which bears the price tag of $649 and 93 priced at $699 offers increased brightness of 2400 lumens of color, the PowerLite 95 costing $799 delivers amazing picture quality at 2600 lumens of color. These three projectors feature XGA resolution. The PowerLite 96W priced at $899 delivers 2700 lumens color and WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution.

If you are interested to buy the Epson PowerLite 90-series, then you will have to wait till March 2011. These latest PowerLite projectors bear a two-year limited warranty.
