EMI have plans to release seventeen additional titles on Super Audio CD. Following the successful release of Mike Oldfield’s ‘Tubular Bells’ EMI’s Abbey Road Studios have announced the imminent release of a collection of titles from their major recording artists on Super Audio CD.
Abbey Road Studios have installed a DSD workstation, including the acclaimed Sonoma multi-channel recorder/editor/mastering system as part of their continuing “…drive for audio excellence at the cutting edge of sound reproduction”.
Titles include works from Joe Cocker, Tina Turner and Paul McCartney, Michael Nyman’s ‘The Piano’, Brian Eno’s ‘Music for Airports’, Morricone’s score for ‘The Mission’ and Tangerine Dream’s ‘Rubycon’.
