Electro-Voice has recently expanded its product portfolio with the new EVID FM series of flush mount in-wall speaker systems. This high performance background and foreground installed speaker system series from Electro-Voice comprises of two models, FM6.2 and FM4.2.

Both the two new members of the EVID product family offer a powerful combination of superb audio quality and sturdy sealed unit construction. Sporting an aesthetically appealing in-wall design, FM6.2 and FM4.2 speaker systems can match any home decor. The FM6.2 comprises of 6” woofer, 1” tweeter and 6” tuned passive radiator. While the FM4.2 comprises of 4” woofer, 1” tweeter and 4” tuned passive radiator.

These two new EVID products have all their components fitted in a shallow, fully sealed enclosure for consistent performance and great sound isolation from adjacent rooms. Featuring an innovative low profile design, these speaker systems offer an increased structural integrity.

The FM6.2 offers high power handling in a compact size, thereby making it a perfect product for larger rooms. On the other hand, the FM4.2 offers excellent performance for small and mid-sized rooms. Both these systems offer exceptional extended bass response relative to their compact size.
