The DVD Forum, official governing body of all DVD formats (including DVD-Audio and DVD-Video) have tentatively announced details of their 2001 US Conference, held on December 5th at the Marina Beach Marriott Hotel, 4100 Admiralty Way Marina Del Rey, California between 09:00 and 18:00.
The DVD-Audio topic is entitled ‘DVD-Audio: Hear It, Believe It’ and will be presented by Reid Sullivan, General Manager, Entertainment Group, Panasonic Consumer Electronics and Jordan Rost, Senior Vice President, New Technology, Warner Music Group. Additional speakers will be announced shortly.
Pre-registration fees (via the DVD Forum web site before 30/11/01) are $395 for DVD Forum members and $425 for non-members. On-site registration fees are $450 for Forum members and $495 for non-members.
Reserved Marina Beach Marriott Hotel rooms are available and delegates can benefit from a special DVD Conference USA room rate of $149 for single or double occupancy.
