Some of you might remember just yesterday when we reported on the Skullcandy Limited Edition Footaction headphone packs which were selling for $500. Yes, that is expensive, and it came with a pair of shoes, but a recent event calls into question the price of high-end headphones.

In Bensonhurst, N.Y., Officer Richard Quinn of 71st Precinct in Crown Heights stole a pair of headphones from a local Best Buy Electronics store.

He was suspended from the force, and caught by a security guard. I’ll bet this security guard was surprised that he had caught an officer of the law.

Remember how I mentioned that this could have happened as a result of headphones being too expensive? If a cop was willing to do this, what does this say about us?
