Comcast has released a new Xfinity Android application which serves as a TV remote which can remote control cable boxes, and do basic TV remote functions. You can schedule DVR recordings, as well as search previous recordings on your Android device.
The Comcast Xfinity TV remote app has been previously released on iOS devices like iPhone and iPad. The iOS apps are a bit more advanced since they’ve received several updates, but the Android app is expected to get most of the functionalities.
