CherryPal recently launched the industry’s first secure and energy efficient two-watt CherryPal cloud computer with no moving parts. The PC uses 80% less components and consumes 98% less energy than any traditional computer. So, stop worrying about hardware failure and maintenance cost.

“Today’s typical PC is based on a computing model created 25 years ago, before the Internet, web browsers and global warming,” said CherryPal CEO Max Seybold. “We have developed a new computing model that makes CherryPal the easiest to use, greenest, most affordable computer available today.”

The easy to use computer boots up in 20 seconds and is operated by Firefox-based browser. The Freescale’s MPC5121e mobileGT processor, 256MB of DDR2 DRAM and 4GB NAND Flash-based solid state drive makes it one rugged device. The 10 ounces weighing computer features Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, 1 USB 2.0 port, Ethernet and RJ-45 jack, VGA DB-15 display out jack and Headphone stereo audio out 3.5mm jack for ease of use.

The software applications like iTunes, Openoffice.org and CherryPal-brand media player makes it available for use right after you take it out of the box. Available at a price of $249, it does not require subscription or any hidden fee.
