Channel Classics Works to Promote the SACD Format
Not only has Channel Classics been one of the early adopters when it comes to SACD, they are also working to promote the SACD format. Channel Classics is working closely with Philips on a promotion where key record stores that carry SACDs will get a SACD player from Philips to enable in store demonstrations of SACD discs. This will enable customers to hear SACD recordings via speakers or headphones starting in September.
More SACDs In The Works
In addition to recording new Classical albums in DSD, the staff at Channel Classics plans to release some additional SACD titles later this year. They are also exploring the possibility of beginning to release their new Classical releases as single inventory, hybrid Multichannel/Stereo SACDs.
