The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) recently honored high performance products for excellence in design and technology in video display category with the prestigious CES 2008 Innovations Awards. CES Innovations Awards are chosen yearly by a board of renowned industry designers, engineers and journalists who evaluate product entries on criterion including user value, aesthetics, innovative design, quality and contributions to the quality of life.
Sponsored by CEA and endorsed by the Industrial Designers Society of America, the CES Innovations Awards emphasize product development in technology design and engineering. This time again a huge number of companies have received the awards for their outstanding products in video displays category. To name a few:
Beko Elektronik A.S has got the award for its high end model Piano Line 37″ LCD TV model LV2 which comes with LCD TV with FRC, 100 Hz, VisionArt, SRS Trusound XT, 2HDMI
Dnp Denmark has received the award for its dnp Supernova Epic Screen with a curved screen combining superior Supernova optical screen technology with a masking system to bring a sweeping cinematic experience into the home.
Hitachi’s Director’s Series 32″ LCD HDTV Monitor Model: UT32-MH700B received the award for the smartly designed thin and light structure which is engineered to give out high end performance.
LG Corporation’s 32-inch DVD Combo LCD HDTV Model: 32LG40 with integrated DVD player features invisible speakers; coupled with a high-glossy black finish with its brilliant features it captured the award. Other than this LG 47-inch 1080p LED BLU LCD TV Slim Design Model: 47LG75 received the award from CEA as the LCD TV offers viewers a beautifully true-to-life picture quality with its high contrast ratio, automatic brightness, color optimization and hidden speakers. LG also received the award for 52LG71, 52-inch 1080p “Full HD” LCD HDTV, which is world’s first 1080p LCD with an integrated 802.11 Wireless System.
Panasonic Consumer Electronics Company’s Plasma TV Model TH-42PZ700 also received the award. This is first and only 42- inch 1080p HD plasma with unique memory card slot to view digital still photos.
Philips Consumer Electronics the Ultimate Dream TV Model: 52PFL7603D has received the award for its 52″ 1080p LCD HDTV featuring the latest picture technology and processing with Clear LCD 120Hz.
Pioneer Electronics received the award for its model Elite KURO PRO-110FD 50″ Flat Panel Display which is reengineered from the ground up producing deeper blacks resulting in vivid colors, more detail and enhanced contrast.
Samsung Electronics America, Sync Master 700DXn is an award winner as it is ideal for digital signage applications.
Stewart Film Screen Corporation’s model Star Glass display has received the award because of its finest vision and artistry in which the designer has combined resources to create a truly magnificent structure.
