Audiovox is gearing up to bring their newest Blu-ray player to cars, launching the device sometime in July 2011 for $349. Interestingly enough, this player has already won a CES Innovations award and families with large Blu-ray collections will be the target audience that Audiovox hopes to win over in the consumer market. Their device offers a front panel USB input and IR remote and hooking up to a car monitor through HDMI, composite or component outputs. Of course, if you were wondering, the answer is yes, the player can also support DVDs too.
