It always looks like ASUS is up to something. They have the WAVI Xtion Motion Sensor and the VG278H monitor is 3D at 27 inches. Now they have the BW-12D1S-U, which is the supposedly the fastest external 3D Blu-ray writer in the world.

The BW-12D1S-U has “reliable Blu-ray burning performance” and it has capable of speeds of 12X for USB 3.0 It also has Optical Tuning Strategy (OTS) technology for the best writing speeds.

So, if you want the high definition 3D, you should check this out. However, I will never used an external Blu-ray before, and in all honesty, I don’t even own a Blu-ray player. I wonder what percentage of the world I fall into.

For some reason, I don’t seem to have a price for this ASUS BW-12D1S-U, nor any availability date. Normally, I see something like these with a price or availability date, but hey, I guess this just didn’t happen.
