AMD will be demonstrating a new kind of display technology with the Blu-ray stereoscopic 3D standard which can only be enjoyed in theaters. AMD will be showcasing this new standard over at the 2010 Consumer Electronic Show offering consumers a new way to enjoy the continuing spread of Blu-ray and HD entertainment.

Blu-ray stereoscopic 3D combines the crisp, high-definition images the format is known for with high-quality 3D visuals that seem to jump from the screen. These new standards are expected to come out by the second half of 2010, taking home entertainment and HD gaming to another level.
